{ A home with a cool touch! }

Want to get some cool inspiration?
Let's guide us though this fantastic apartment in Sweden, shall we?
 Let's start with this amazing entrance - what a smashing and welcoming hallway!
And what a funny print; "Yellow is the new black" - I love it!
 Look at this fresh, light and colorful kitchen. A good example on that you can have a colorful room although you have a white kitchen - It's all in the details. Posters are super hot these days, and they are a perfect way to add colors to your wall. ( easy to change when you get bored too )
Chalkboards have been popular for a while now, but I still think they're cool. If you have children, is this a great way to keep track of everything that are happening throughout the week.
I love the size of this kitchen, and the transparent furniture give the illusion of even more space. You can never get enough space, right?
Have you notice the black floor? It makes a wonderful contrast against the white walls.
Home sweet home. Yes, I would enjoy sitting in front of that fireplace - what a jewellery!
"God morgon" is Swedish and means "Good morning". Cute idea in a cute bedroom.

 Do you see anything inn this apartment that you like?
I hope it gave you some inspiration, because it sure did to me.

{ Happy Home! }

It's weekend and we need some smashing colors to celebrate, so this happy and colorful apartment is a perfect start of this weekend.

I adore everything about this apartment, and you should pay attention to all the details because there's a lot of them!
 The picture collage, the DIY table, the chair and the pillows are some of my favorites in this living room.
A round dining table makes it extra cosy.
 The colors in the bedroom and the bathroom truly gives me energy - so lovely!
Notice the use of driftwood over the bathtub. An idea to steal maybe?
 I love the tiles, the open shelves and all the cute mix of color! I wish I was better to use more color myself, but our kitchen is dark brown and this works better with white kitchens I think.
 A shelf to put lovely cookbooks is always nice in a kitchen.
 This hallway makes me smile - I just LOVE the feminine look of it!

Isn't this apartment absolutely adorable?
Do you use a lot of colors this fall?

{ 10 tips on how to decorate the hallway }

Remember that the hallway is the first thing guests see as they come through the front door - so make sure it's warm and welcoming. Hallways are only used as a walk-through, so you can afford to make a statement. Here you have 10 tips on how to decorate your hallway...

1. To make a small and narrow hallway feel light and airy, paint the woodwork white. Keep the furniture light too, and make sure the walls are pale to continue the spacious look.

2. If you want the walls to be neutral, go for a colorful rug. Just make sure the rug can handle the traffic.

3. A small table or a dresser is ideal for dumping mail or a bouquet of flowers.

4. Hallways can often be narrow and dark - so the right lighting is essential. Make sure you have enough light.

5. Mirrors are a great way of reflecting natural light, and they can also give the impression of space.

6. Uplighters and wall lights are both practical and stylish - perfect for giving hallways that welcoming feel.

7. Hide hallway clutter with a useful storage bench. Choose one with compartments and load it up with boxes and baskets.

8. Shoe racks are great for family homes as they keep the hallway organised. Slide the rack under a side table if you'd prefer keep it out of sight.

9.  Make sure you have enough space for jackets and coats and don't forget your lovely guests.

10. Experiment with wallpaper and bright patterns - make a statment!

I really hope this gave you some ideas on how to decorate your hallway.
Have a wonderful day everybody!

{ Light and fresh apartment! }

This apartment is so fresh! I love it! Notice that all the furnitures are white, but they have spiced up the rooms with cool wallpaper, colorful cushions and lovely flowers. Seems that most of the furnitures are from Ikea, so it wouldn't be difficult to copy the style if you like it.
