{ Little by little... }

Things are starting to fall into place after having packed up everything from our shipment from LA. It was quite a job, but it was great to see all our things again. I have missed many of the small details that made it homey in our apartment in Los Angeles, e.g my homemade "Home Sweet Home"- pillow,
sheep furs, my Coca Cola wooden crate, books, pictures etc.

Our sofa table and dining table has also been replaced with the ones we had before. They actually made the room a bit brighter, because this apartment really has its dark corners I´ll tell you!

Gotta have some snack while I´m redecorating, right? This was a gift from a very good friend.

Little by little our home falls into place. Currently, it seems a bit over-furnished, so maybe I need to get rid of some stuff or just get used to it *smile*

I´ll be back with some more updates throughout the week. Stay tuned!

Happy new week everyone!
An extra big thank you for all of you that leave me comments. It´s very appreciated, and I always love to hear what you think...

{ DIY: Lovable tags }

Remember my post "11 Valentine ideas"? I really liked the sweet tags with the hearts on, and I wanted to make similar ones myself so I have for gifts etc.

 You can of course make these in all different kinds of fabric and colors. It´s only the imagination that stops you.
I doesn't have to be more than a little tag like this to make an other person happy.

{ A romantic bathroom }

 Since it´s Valentine´s day today, I thought it would be perfect to show you this sweet and romantic bathroom.

What a dream to start every morning in this room filled with LOVE!
Make it romantic in your bathroom by:

♡ Adding delicate colors as pink and purple
♡ Filling your tub or sink with rose petals
♡ Having lots of candles in the room, also scented ones
♡ Play some relaxing music

Is this a bathroom you would like to wake up to?

I just got a wonderful bouquet of pink roses on the door from my fiancé who´s in Los Angeles these days... What a sweet surprise!
You can see pictures of them here if you like.

{ Feeling of spring }

Yesterday we actually had a moment of sunshine here in Oslo, and I had to capture it before the sun disappeared. The light was so delightful, and it gave me a good feeling - a feeling of spring!
If you missed my post on how I made this table, you can read it here.

I hope you will have a wonderful day my dear readers.

{ Work in progress }

Hello everybody! How is your weekend so far? I have been very busy with fixing, building, making and shopping things to our new apartment. I´ll tell you more about my DIY projects later, but here is a sneak peek of one of them...
Today I´m going to sew some pillows, and if the result is okay I'll show them to you later here on my blog.

Have a good day everybody!

{ A touch of pink }

What color do you decorate with now that you have removed your Christmas decorations?
I find it hard to choose which colors I want in the living room, and I usually go with a white and grey base, as it makes it easier for me to add some color.
I saw these pictures over at Stadshem, and liked the idea of using pink and purple together like this. I´m not sure my fiancé likes it as much as me though *smile*
Cute, right?
 See how only a touch of pink softens the hard contrast between black and white.
Do you think you will let pink into your home this winter/spring?
I think I might do - if I can persuade my second half  *smile*

{ IKEA News! }

IKEA has a lot of news these days, and I thought I would show you some of my favorites. This is what I put together...

Do you see anything you like? What style do you like the most?
I have to say that I love their new wardrobe, but I would like to have it in my living room with shelves in it for tableware or books and stuff - like a cabinet. I wonder if that is possible? Otherwise there is always "Liatorp".

{ 10 colorful beds }

How could you possible get out of bed on the wrong side with duvet covers like this?

Flower prints are as you probably know the big hit this summer - the bigger, happier and brighter the better!

All the lovely beddings are from Impressionen.

  I love them all, but my favorites would be # 1, 2 and 4.
Du you have any favorites?
