{ Spring flowers - how can we use them? }

Today I´d like to show you some ideas on how you can bring spring into your home simply by adding flowers. I don´t know about you, but flowers make me happier and spring flowers are full of joy with their lovely colors.

A nice idea is to put some miniature Primula in your favorite cups like in the picture above.

Or you can add flowers to your table setting, and do something similar as showed in the pictures underneath.

Fresh colors like these create good energy in the room!

Lots of spring bulbs in a wooden crate make a great result. Maybe you can grow them yourself?

{ My kitchen }

Since I blogged about "Spring feeling" yesterday, I thought I would show you that I actually have a brought spring into my kitchen as well...

I got some gorgeous yellow tulips from a dear friend this weekend, and they certainly gave our kitchen a fresh look. Let´s say that I´ve started a bit early with my Easter decoration *smile*

Oh, I love this Savon soap so much! This one was actually a Christmas gift.

For those of you that have been reading my blog for a while, may recognize that I´ve now finally gotten my Eames chairs and my white Ikea table back from LA. You can see how our home made dining table looked like here. Which dining table do you like the best?

I can´t say how happy I am to get all our things back from our previous apartment. Oh, joy!

I hope these pictures gave you an extra spring feeling, and once again I will point out how much it does by having a little color on the flowers.

{ Feeling of spring! }

I have to admit that I really yearn for spring now that we are entering March, and it seems that the more I yearn, the more it snows so it's quite frustrating! Therefore I have now collected some spring pictures that can help us get some "spring feeling"...(for you that already are so lucky to have spring already; just enjoy!)

{ Tine K Home - Spring/Summer 2011 }

I guess that there´s no secret that I love the brand Tine K Home, and I got very excited when I saw their new collection for this spring/summer on their homepage. Here´s a peek if you haven´t seen it already...

These ceramic pots and bowls will also be available in white. They´ll go strait on my wishlist.

I can´t wait until it´s all out in the stores! I know for sure that there will be a lot of Tine K in my home this spring - I truly love the rough and crisp look of this new collection.

{ Lexington - spring collection 2011 }

 Light blue and jeans-fabric are both a big part of Lexington´s collection that we can find in stores this spring - simply delightful and very fresh!

 These pictures make me yearn for spring, and even summer. 

We sure have some nice seasons ahead of us.

{ Feeling of spring }

Yesterday we actually had a moment of sunshine here in Oslo, and I had to capture it before the sun disappeared. The light was so delightful, and it gave me a good feeling - a feeling of spring!

I´m in LOVE! House Doctor´s new collection is so cool, and it follow the trends of 2011 perfectly! 

Here you have a peek of some of their goodies..

The rustic and natural trend continues in 2011. I like how they mix it all together with fresh colors as shown underneath. Yes, we have a lot to look forward to this spring!

Their new collection is in stores early March, so we have to be patient.

I see so much that I want already - and I want it now!!

We have to wait a couple of months before Tine K´s spring collection is available in the stores, but they have published this picture so we can get an idea of what we can expect. 

I love the delicate and soft colors!

{ A touch of pink }

What color do you decorate with now that you have removed your Christmas decorations?

I find it hard to choose which colors I want in the living room, and I usually go with a white and grey base, as it makes it easier for me to add some color.

I saw these pictures over at Stadshem, and liked the idea of using pink and purple together like this. I´m not sure my fiancé likes it as much as me though *smile*

Cute, right?

 See how only a touch of pink softens the hard contrast between black and white.

Do you think you will let pink into your home this winter/spring?

I think I might do - if I can persuade my second half  *smile*

I always get happy when I see a new collection from Bloomingville. Their products are always delightful, and so are their photos.

As you can see they have a lot of pastels, driftwood, baskets and industrial look in their new collection. I think it looks great when you mix them all together. Their style is very feminine and delicate.
