{ 11 Valentine Ideas }

Valentines day is only a few days away and I thought some Valentine inspiration wouldn't hurt.

I have picked out 11 gift ideas that I found truly adorable - something meaningful.

I obviously like all the ideas since I picked them out, but I have to say that I really adore the pictures with the small folded hearts and the cute tags in the first row. It shouldn't be that hard to make these ourselves, right?

I´m actually a grass widow these days so I have no Valentines day plans.
What do YOU usually do on Valentines day?

{ Red Christmas temptations }

Do you need some help with your Christmas wishes this year?  Maybe these red delights is something that would be nice under the Christmas tree?

You can find them here:

Vipp: New Collection Feb. 2011 (Yes, you have to wait *smile*)
KitchenAid: Stand mixer
Bruka design: Mail box

You can of course find them in other colors as well, but I thought red would be a fun color now since it's Christmas and all :)

Enjoy your 2nd Sunday of Advent.

{ Happy Thanksgiving! }

Today it's Thanksgiving here in the US! It's actually the first time I'm going to celebrate it and I am very excited! My dear friend Sarah and I are going to make dinner together and I'm in charge of the table setting as well. Hopefully I will get some good pictures taken so I can share our dinner with you.
 Thanksgiving is probably the most important holiday for most Americans.
It's a long weekend for relaxation and spending time with family and close friends.
A time for turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, Indian corn and holiday parades...

It's a nice occasion for just getting together and being thankful that we have each other!
That's why I will give all of my readers a big hug today, and say thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving!

{ Holding on to Summer! }

I don't know about you, but I'm not quite done with the summer yet. Of course I look forward to do cosy things like lighting candles in the dark evenings and sink into my sofa tucked in with a woollen throw, while I'm drinking a cup of hot chocolate. But right now I want to enjoy what's left of the summer! So today I'm showing you this beautiful and summery balcony...

The red details makes it look extra wonderful and fresh I think.

So what are you doing today? Do you have any special plans?
I don't know what I'm doing yet, but I know I will enjoy the good weather! I hope you will have good weather too...

♡

I wish you a lovely and summery day!

{ Floral wallpaper }

I'm overwhelmed by the magic of this floral wallpaper! Imagine how boring this room would be without this contrast. - Just perfect don't you think?

Would you ever dare to use this wallpaper?

{ Table decoration ideas }

A beautifully laid table makes the meal – and the moment. Use candles, tablecloths, flowers and other natural materials to create just the right atmosphere. Bon Appétit!

{ Green Gate - gives you summer! }

I just can´t get enough of all the lovely pictures from the Green Gate collection. I think it´s a perfect way to start this weekend with some summer feeling... Enjoy!

{ A summerhouse to love... }

This is a summerhouse that became a permanent home. I can´t believe how beautiful it is. All the perfect details, and the warm colors make it so welcoming... I particularly love the big window in the living room. It makes the room very light and airy. Beautiful!

{ Summer with Lexington Company }

The Seaside summer collection from Lexington Company is now available in stores. So I guess we just have to wait for the summer to come. As I told you before I'm a big Lexington fan, so it would be unnecessary to say that I love this collection... I want the barbecue set and the beach bag. And the pale blue bedding looks wonderful.

{ Happy Friday everyone! }

{ Par Courrier }

Magdalena Ahlberg from Sweden has this wonderful online store called Par Courrier. Her products are mostly inspired from the classic French and Belgian style, but as you can see there's also a lot of the New England style, which I love! If you like her style, you should take a look at all her products here.

{ A touch of red }

In feng shui decorating, red is associated with power, love, inspiration and pleasure. Conclusion: Great color for decorating!
I think its so warm and welcoming, if you use it in the right way... Just lovely!
